About Me – Jack Mkimbo
I am a Software Engineer and Product Leader from Mombasa, Kenya, with a passion for building technology that solves real-world problems. My journey in tech is driven by a core belief: that the right digital tools can unlock immense potential for businesses, especially in emerging markets like East Africa.
With a strong foundation in full-stack development, I've had the privilege of building and maintaining complex InsurTech products for a global market. This experience taught me the importance of scalable architecture, robust backend systems, and creating seamless user experiences across both web and mobile platforms.
Today, my focus is on entrepreneurship. I am the Co-Founder and Product Lead for GrowthCat, a Micro-SaaS platform I am architecting from the ground up. Our mission is to empower service-based SMEs in my community with the AI and automation tools they need to thrive. This project is the culmination of my technical skills and my ambition to drive meaningful, sustainable digital transformation.
