Missing Link is a passion project aimed at solving a critical social issue. It allows users to report missing persons and sighting alerts instantly.
The Challenge
Time is critical in missing person cases. The app needed to be extremely fast, accessible on low-end devices, and location-aware.
The Solution
Leveraged Firebase for real-time database capabilities and Cloud Messaging for instant alerts. The Google Maps API visualizes sightings to help coordinate search efforts.
