Overview
EAB InsurTech is an enterprise financial core deployed for Tier-1 insurance brokerages and underwriters in Hong Kong. The platform bridges administrative web consoles for underwriting agents with cross-platform mobile apps for policyholders, managing multi-tier policies, premium calculations, and digital claim submissions.
The Challenge
Handling multi-step underwriting logic, strict regulatory compliance (HKIA guidelines), and high-concurrency policy state transitions across both web and mobile clients without data inconsistencies or performance latency.
The Solution
I built modular frontend web interfaces in React and Redux, implementing predictable state machines for complex policy quotation wizards. I authored high-throughput RESTful microservices in TypeScript and Node.js with strict schema validation. For mobile policyholders, I built cross-platform applications in Flutter and Dart, ensuring a unified customer experience and biometric authentication on iOS and Android.
Key Results
